Puberty is the period during adolescence when sexual maturity takes place. In girls, the breasts develop, the hips widen, and they begin to have periods. In males, the voice deepens, they grow chest and facial hair, and in both sexes genital hair grows. Once all that happens, puberty is over and you pass into the stage called "adulthood".

Ending????? Never heard that question before.

There is probably MANY things or maybe NONE to indicate puberty is ending. Once your enter into puberty, your body is preparing for adult life. I don't think it EVER ends!!!

How can it end?

Lets take a man. His voice deepens. He grows whiskers, with more hair including pubic hair. He will begin to think of sex and girls. He become a lot more mature and his think is usually better than when he was a "kid". I think puberty lasts until death for men.

Lets take a woman: She begans to grow breasts, pubic hair, have periods and her figure becomes more pronounced. She begins to think of sex and reproduction. She will remain this way until menopause when her periods end as does her child bearing. IF she survives menopause....nothing else will change except she will age.

So I think puberty is the beginning of the maturity of a man and/or woman. Good luck. Pops

Hairy body, pubic or hair around the penis, huge jump in height in a short period of time, penis growth in a short period of time. muscles or jaw line is more defined. You can always look it up as the stages of puberty.
