My uncle was building a beach house on the Oregon Coast and I decided to drive up to see it with him so he could show me his progress.
We got there really late at night because of traffic, me, my uncle and his dog. As soon as we got there his dog, Bailey, started acting really strangely. She seemed very agitated and she started growling and the hair on her back was up. At first we thought someone had broken in the property, but when we went inside it was completely empty. The dog followed us into the house.
My uncle checked the house to make sure it was all locked up and no one had entered it which would explain the dog's strange behavior. The house was nearly done, but it was empty of all furniture...so we turned on the lights and he started showing me around the place.
When we got to the dining room, the dog (which was with us the whole time) began whimpering and growling all at the same time.
Have you ever seen those cartoons where the dog is standing with a paw in the air, the tail stick straight, ready to go hunting?
That's sort of Bailey looked like. She stood very stiff, looking at an empty wall in the dining room, the hair on her back was up but her eyes were moving, following something that neither I nor my uncle could see.
Whatever she was seeing seemeed to be going around the room, like in a acircle and she just followed it with its eyes, growling the whole time until "it" (whatever it was got really close to my uncle. Than Bailey pounced on it...except to us it was thin air. She literally jumped through the air and crashed against the wall. She got up sort of dazed and looked around but whatever it was she had felt or "seen" was gone.
It was the weidest and freakiest experience I have ever experienced. Even though I din't see anything...
The dog was just acting so weird...like there really was something in there with us. Whatever it was, she didn't like it.

An actual thing? Like as in ghost? Just shadow ghosts. Not a big deal.
Linda... that's... I don't even have words for that. Revolting would be closest but that doesn't quite fit. Yuck maybe would be the second closest. Wow.

In my mother's house, I think someone hanged himself from the stairwell. My daughter saw this too. We could hear someone walking slowly up & down the stairs from the third floor to the second. We slept in the second floor bedroom at different times. These were old wooden stairs, so they creaked with every step.

I once saw the universe torn in half. That was pretty weird. Admittedly I was on mushrooms in Amsterdam, but rationalising it after the event doesn't make it any less weird. Perhaps you should have inserted a "when you were sober" clause in there!

While I was a nurse I saw a baby born with no head or neck at all. Where they should have been was hair like for on top of the head. there were no genitals at all, and it was all puffed up like a cabbage patch doll. Autopsy showed no organs, it apparently was growing off of its twin which was normal.....Top that!!!!!

One time I saw my living room drapes reach out and attack me. But I was on acid at the time, does that count?
