I am trying to memorize a list of words so I am trying to make a word for each letter. For example...
J-joy
O-open
H-happy
N-noisy.
For John, or
P-please
E-excuse
M-my
D-dear
A-aunt
S-sally.
For the Order of Operations.

Actually, I believe you are talking about a Backronym, coined in 1983. A backronym is created when one constructs a phrase that has, as its acronym, an existing short word. An acronym is a word created from the initial letters of a phrase:( example, Random Access Memory becomes RAM)
