Easy !!!!

Local library & check out the Electorial Roll & Census.

You can then try & cross ref this info with local papers / burial records.

If the house has a 'history' there may also be some info at a local historical society.

(Please whatever you do DO NOT attempt to mess around with mediums etc to contact it - Most are fakes and if you do make direct contact, you may not know kind what exactly you are unleashing)

Happy hunting.

If you go to one of the genealogy sites and access the 1901 census records you can find out who lived there in 1901 and for the census before. O you can do the same at your local library. You could then check out the named people in the death index to see if any of them died there.

You can find the occupants of any house in England or Wales in the 1901 census returns.

Go to your local library.
Ask about street or trade directories for your area. Depending on the size of the library, they will either have the one for the years you require there, or they will be able to get it for you from a bigger library.
