I have a large money tree, atleast that is what I think they call it? But I was wanting to know how to trim it and if you can get starters from it aswell? I have two of them and they are way to big for the office, and I do not want to kill them.

See this website for information about pruning mature trees. There is also information about pruning young trees, planting trees, proper mulching, insect and disease issues, etc...

http://www.treesaregood.com/treecare/pruning_mature.aspx

The site is developed and owned by the International Society of Arboriculture, which is a world leader in tree care.

Whatever you do, don't "top" the trees to make them smaller. Topping is the worst thing that can be done to trees. There is information on the website about why topping is bad.

Although the money tree is much smaller/different than trees found naturally in our communities it is pruned essentially the same. The key for a money plant is to make sure it is aesthetically pleasing, so take a little at a time following the guide on the website. You can always take more off. Make sure each cut is at a lateral branch so there isn't a stub left.

Hi, I just typed in money tree into yahoo web search and came up with what I always called an Asian Lucky Bean tree! The other picture was of a Jade plant.
Jade plants are easy, I prune them like any tree.
Take off branches that rub, and branches that shoot strait up off the main branch
But the Bean Tree...I have NO Idea...sorry
