Peter Magowen said that if the giants signed bonds he would not be a centerpiece but if you look at thier team if they signed him he would be the best #4 hitter on thier team? Do you agree with me?

Bonds will re-sign with the Giants. Forget the rumors of him moving to the A.L. to DH. He knows what his situation is in S.F. and is smart enough to know that is his best option. The fans there still for the most part like him, he can DH during interleague play and play the outfield for the Giants 4 to 5 games a week. That would get his bat in the lineup around 120 to 125 games and I think he knows that would be whats best for him. Plus the Giants know how to deal with the media circus around him, that makes it easier for him. He needs the Giants and the Giants need him and both sides realize this. Bonds will be a Giant next year....period!!!

the Giants are done for 2007......with or without Bonds.

They couldn't sign Soriano, they couldn't sign Carlos Lee, they couldn't even sign Juan Pierre. There's no more big offensive names on the market.

They haven't done anything to improve the team and they're about to lose Schmidt to the Dodgers of all teams.

Sit back and enjoy the losing years while they rebuild by developing their young talent. Then they'll be good again.

No. He will find it harder to get away with steroids, and he is getting old. Expect his stats to take a tumble.
