I am used to finding the @ on top of the 2 on the keyboard but my mother just got a new computer and she hasn't been able to figure out the @. I am in the US and she is in Peru, I don't know if that matters, maybe keyboards in South America are different? So, if anybody knows how to make a @ happen besides the usual way (clicking on 2 on capitals) please let me know so I can email her and let her know.
Thanks a lot!!!
PS: Sorry this question sounds dumb, but it is true.

I am going to say @ probably is on the 2 button on your mom's computer too.

Worth a shot anyway.

You're right. Keyboards are different in different languages. Your mother can probably change the keyboard in the operating system menus, which is in a different place in almost every Windows and Linux release, so she'll have to look around for it!

Yes, in Peru they have different keyboards.
It's been long enough since I was in Latin America that I can't remember how to do it.
If she already got an e-mail from you, I'd recommend that she copy your e-mail address and paste the @ from it.
