Mine did go off for a few moments loads a while back, it was to do with the power station or something. If it was just you then you may be overloading your circuit.

We came home around 5pm and there had been a power cut. The clocks on the microwave & video were flashing.

Yeah, it was my kids, can't believed they turned it off when they went outside, but one came back in and now its on again

Please don't post stupid questions. You just asked the entire world if their power went off just because yours did. At least specify where you live in as much detail as you can.
