If a person doused the bbq with lighter fluid and died would you call that natural selection??

I was inclined to say no any theories? (apart from the person being incredibly dim)

I would put that into the category of natural selection, and Darwinism. Natural selection deals with a species' ability to survive, and a thinning of the herd for those that cannot. The thinning can be due to an animal's inability to adapt, either physically or mentally. Mental adaptations include the use of tools--correctly--to improve quality of life. The person dousing the BBQ with lighter fluid, and burning himself to death, would imply an inability to use tools, thus, failure to mentally adapt, and the need to eliminate them from the gene pool--Darwinism at it's best.

Nope, just a narrowing of the gene pool, and we are the better for it.

Yes, most definitely. Just because it is dumb or stupid doesn't negate it. The dumb/stupid are just the first or easiest to go.
