To become president of the U.S. a candidate must be 35 years or older (not 45 as another poster stated), he must be born in the U.S. and be a resident of the U.S. for a minimum of 14 years.

You have to be a US born citizen, be at least 45 years old, you should have some experience in Politics. You are going to need lots of people supporting you that will volunteer time to help you with a campaign, of course you will have to have financial backers that will contribute funds and other things that will be needed (transportation, lodging, food, etc). You should also have a clean police record or at least things that are simple enough to explain and apologize for. I can't think of all of it but you could probably find plenty of info online here.
