Here is the complete breakdown as I see it...
Group A
As far as I can see Bremen and Chelsea will move on, with Bremen sneaking a tie at Barca. Even if Barca moves on, their recent play in the champions league does not convince me of their ability to win it all, and something is obviously not clicking since their success last year.
Group B
Bayern and Inter are both strong and will do well in the elimination rounds, especially Inter who currently leads the Serie A.
Group C
Liverpool and PSV will not pose a serious challenge to win it all. I have two words for Liverpool...premiership standings. That sums it up pretty well. These two get stopped in the round of 16.
Group D
Yet another interesting group where Shaktar could advance. The only team that has a chance to make waves here (and that is an extremely small chance) is Valencia. Roma, though currently third in the Serie A, is seven points off the pace against the 8th place team in the Premiera.
Group E
Lyon and Real Madrid...two great teams. Both have the potential to travel far in the tournament. I especially like Lyon because they have been on form lately, and are completely beating the crap out of everyone else in Ligue 1.
Group F
As my username might reveal, I am a reds fan and hope to see them win it all, and I believe that they could progress far if they can find a way to play in the Champions League like they do in the premiership, especially like they played in their solid performance against Chelsea today. Celtic, although a strong team, might make it to the round of 8 before being eliminated.
Group G
Both Porto and Arsenal are strong teams who are playing well, with Porto ahead in the Liga. Their 5-0-0 record at home leads me to believe that they will advance to the group of 8, but no farther. Arsenal has been playing decently in the Premiership, but like Barca, will not make it to the final. In addition, the fact that CSKA Moskva has 8 points in the group scares me...either they're quite good or the other quality is lacking...
Group H
Milan might do well, (and boy are they good in Fifa 06), but I do not believe they will go the distance. I believe they will be dropped immediately because of their 4-4-4 record in the Serie A.
So, in conclusion, my final eight are:
Chelsea, Bayern, Valencia, Porto, Inter, Man U, Lyon and Real Madrid.
My final four are narrowed to Chelsea, Inter, Lyon and Real Madrid.
And the team who wins it all: As of right now, Lyon, although any of these four could take it.

Olympique Lyon because they look like a serious contender for this years Champions League. They are able to defeat the mighty Real Madrid at their home and draw away against Real Madrid. Btw, they also do have good players like Juninho Pernambacano, who is an expert in free kick and Fred, who is one the most dangerous striker.
