She has not taken office yet but the bashing has begun. Pelosi is a smart woman and a patriot. Does the phrase "First Woman Speaker of the House" upset Republican "Old Boys club"?

Hating powerful influential women is typical for right wing parties and the macho mentality that historically comes with far right ideology. They probably feel she should stay home with the kids.Same goes for Hillary Clinton.
Classic for the far right

i think its not that the republican is "scared" they just didn't like the idea of pelosi, a democrat taking the history, being "first woman speaker of the house". i bet if there is a woman republican who holds that position, they will not bash her that way they are bashing pelosi...

just like when hillary, the former first lady who win the senate seat and took office for new york. there are lots of talk and bashing as well, but she remain tough though. i guess we need those powerful women out there to shake the "men" out of their double standard ideal..

it seems we need more women politician to talk for us, to be there for us, to represent american men and women in all walks of life. i think they are more compassionate than some men out there..

We have seen her record, and her district is scary too! She also wants criminals to hold some of the most powerful seats in the House. If the far left was not so anti American she wouldn't be so scary. Socialism might sound good to some but it sounds awful to me.

There does appear to be a double standard for women leaders than for men. Did you see the articles analyzing Pelosi's clothes and jewelry? I wouldn't say the traditional male power structure is afraid of Pelosi as much as revealing some of their deeply entrenched male superiority complex.

perhaps the hypocrisy, the lunacy, the shortcoming of plans on an analogous time as shouting the DEM slogan of 'Bush is Evil', or probably the connections to NAMBLA. i do no longer think of there is worry although... dread approximately lots of the crap she will attempt and pull, yet no longer worry

You mean the "Old Boys Club" that made the first black secretary of state and then the first black woman secretary of state?

LOL...boy have you suckered into the void or what?. Republicans are not afraid or scared of the hypocrite Pelosi. They are very concerned about the ignorant people who have allowed that hypocritical socialist liberal to have any power at all.
