What is better getting a master in something related to counseling or studying NLP,EFT, REIKI, and other mind, body, soul approaches? I'm tired of theorical stuff. I want something practical. I want to study something I can actually use to help other people not the conventional 10 year therapy. However, nonconventional approaches don't seem to be as accepted and respected as conventional therapy. Also, I haven't been able to find a school that is approved and they are really expensive also. I don't know anybody that is into these approaches, if you are, please guide me a little. Or if you have a masters please share with me what it has done for you. Thanks a lot.

Hi Aude

Ive learned pranic healing (pranichealing.com), which is an advanced method in energy healing. It too though costs money to learn, but you can learn quickly in a few classes. Ive studied a lot of methods and this technique has helped quite a few people Ive been with. As you've mentioned though people are skeptical, but they aren't after you help take away 12 year back pain in a few sessions!

Master Stephen on the website is on the website and is who I learned from, but there is another teacher on the east coast.

Best of health to you

Neither do palmists offer freebies, interestingly. I don't know really. I enjoy Polarity, especially in magnets, but I also enjoyed the homoeroticism in He-Man. Skeletor had quite a body for a skeleton. Is that why Ding has so many boy and girlfriends and dogs, you think? Under that skull there is a 10 body?. I just can't decide.

I am a master practitioner of NLP and have my Reiki level 2 cert. Learning these concepts properly costs money. For NLP I would suggest looking at purenlp.com where they have a list of trainers. As far as a school being approved it all depends on approved by who? Stick to the one on purenlp.com as they are approved by the Society of NLP and Richard Bandler ( the creator of NLP ). Are they any better? I don't know, but they paid him money for his training.

There is no better. What do you feel passionate about? What is it you would love to learn and share?
I have a B.A. of Science in Metaphysics, am a certified reflexologist, empowerment coach and Inverse Wave Therapist/Energy Healer.
All that being said, I spend most of my time with the energy type healing and coaching, as it is what I'm most passionate about.

Like vibration(energy) attracts like vibration, therefore if you really love what you are doing you will attract those clients who really need and want your service.

If you would like to discuss further you can find me at my website www.newrealmhealing.com

My neighbour did his Master's in Counselling and is now working on a doctorate in Sex Therapy (for couples). There is a high demand for sex therapists in our city and their average hourly rate is $350. That sounds pretty darn good to me!
