Can you recommend any bands that will make me want to break things? I'm not interested in the happy pop stuff.

When I wz younger Depeche Mode in the beginning was sorta considered "industrial music" I like "People r People" then there was some Australian guy w/ a bald head, really tall...i can't remember but he sang "Beds r Burning" but that's not the song I m thinking of...it's the other one that's sorta industrial.

No, but some thing you might like are:
Massive Attack, Toska, Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Nine Inch Nails, ATB, Sasha & Digweed, DJ Tiesto, Dirty Vegas, Prodigy, Kid Loco, Peace Orchestra, etc. Or you could look for some of the music played in shows like CSI Miami or Nip/Tuck.
You cold go to an online radio station, get on Sirrius or XM satellite radio, or go to Borders and look in the Electronica genre and buy a compliation CD (I recommend Northern Exposure, by DJ Sasha and John Digweed)-that is a 2-CD set, one being more trance, the other being more techno.
