My husband and I are awaiting our first child. Don't know if it's a boy or girl yet but we find out SOON and want to have a name ready. We want an unusual name. Some of the ones we like are:
GIRLS:
Rhiannon
Lake
Juliet
Mirana
BOYS:
Brennan
Rayne
London
Stryker
UNISEX:
Phoenix
Please give feedback on names above and feel free to suggest others. Also, as far as middle names go, if you want to add some to the first names, great, but we have decided that the middle name should be a more common name so that if the child doesn't like the unusual one, they can switch to their middle name. Last name starts with an M. Thanks so much!

Well I can tell you this: You probably wont need the unisex name! Well at least you are prepared. I think that Rhiannon Juliet for girl then Brennan Rayne. That is my opinion!

I like Juliet for the girl the other names are a bit much. I love the name Brennan it's a great name for a boy.
I think that when naming a baby it's a great idea to keep in mind that there are some names that will sound wonderful as kids but they don't seem like such good names when you grow into them. Picture your child graduating from high school and the name being called when they walk across the stage (that was a suggestion I read somewhere and thought it was good.)

I adore Juliet as a little girls name and think that Isabella would make a wonderful middle name to go with it. Not to mention that Isabella is an old classic. For girls I have also loved the names Trynitee Paige, Rayne Alexis and Nevah Skye.
I'm not in love with your list of boys names Rayne is decent but I personally would spell it with out the y. I think the Y makes it appear feminine in nature. Old comic book fans will see Stryker and think William striker the man responsible for making Wolverine. Boys name I do like are Garret, Benjamin, Aiden and Lexun.
Phoenix is very cute but I wouldn't use it for a girl, just for a little boy. And I think Benjamin would be a sophisticated and classic name that goes well with Phoenix.

I like the name Mirana for a girl. It's beautiful and sounds mysterious and meaningful. It's also a name that will age gracefully with any woman. London for a boy... It's sounds strong and stable. It sounds very handsome. My least favorite girl name was Lake. It is a very beautiful name... but moreso for a middle name. My least favorite boy name was Stryker. While it would be a great nickname... it may not be suitable for a lifetime. You don't know what your children will be like when they are older.... it may not suit him in the long run.

some of these names are a little exotic and may result in bullying in later years, no offense, (the names Brennan and London have been known as girl names, F.Y.I.)
Girls: Mirana, Kaiden, Faith, Lena, Rena
Boys: Brenden, Erik, Ethan, Zach, Alex

I like Juliet for the girl and Phoenix for the boy.
I like names that are different, but not so unusual that people don't know how to pronounce or spell.
