I had big problems with sleep... then I changed my diet, work out daily and enjoy my steaming cup of chamomile tea before bed. Are you stressed out? That was my problem.

Only use your bed for sleeping, not watching TV or reading a book. Have room completely dark and quiet. Take a bath using lavender or chamamile soap/candles/etc. Drink a glass of warm milk prior to retiring. Exercise regularly. Try taking benedryl at bedtime for a couple of nights. It isn't habit forming like sleeping pills.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

Lay on your back with your feet up on a wall or chair for about 20 minutes then go right to bed... It's pretty cool. it works wonders. don't do it every night though or your body will get used to it.
