When I was younger yeah, but too many responsibilities now. Thank God for road trips ,Sturgis ,Laughlin ,4 corners and Hollister. So at least I can go pretend a few times a year. I do miss the old days. Pocket full of cash sleeping bag ,bottle of Jack and a few doobies you could ride forever. *** To those who ask for a definition of "Biker lifestyle" Here's mine,Work hard, fill your pockets w/cash and go ride, far and long. It's a freedom thing. Before I was tied down by the business I run ,the mortgage and the other responsibilities one acquires w/ "growing up" ,I would spend a couple or more months on the road, camp, crash out or get a room,it didn't matter.I would purposely let myself get lost,I have seen some of the coolest places and met some of the coolest people while lost.I saw more of this country on two wheels during those years than most will see in a lifetime. I only hope when I retire I am in good enough condition to do it again. As for now ,periodic road trip keep me going.

Nope. I enjoy my bike but I am not a biker b.... I don't care what people say or think either. So I am the bike riding accountant, what's it to anyone?
I went to a poker run and these guys pulled up. The REAL biker dudes. Hmm ok, does the biker lifestyle include bad hygiene ? Yuck. I rather keep my lifestyle !

What is the biker lifestyle? I ride my Harley as much as I can and love every minute. When I ride I wear a black leather jacket, jeans, black boots and occasionally a black T shirt. I work 5 days a week, own my home, pay my taxes, send my children to a private high school and university and pay their tuition. I attend all my children's sporting activities and have coached basketball for the park district. I white water raft, parasail, jet ski, ride my bicycle, take my family on vacation every year and go to church every Sunday. I enjoy all kinds of sports and music, including classical. I don't use drugs. I consider this my biker lifestyle. Is this the biker lifestyle you're asking about??

I get your question. I am an old school biker too.. I have traveled all over the USA and lived in a few different places for work.. FOR my money, somewhere in Florida is a great place.. Plenty of riders, plenty of Harley shops and lot of aftermarket and custom shops. The weather is great and lots of nice places to ride. I lived near Orlando for a while. OUT of the city it is a great place to ride.. Ocala has some great places. THEN of course there is Daytona.. YOU just cant go wrong in any of those places. LOTS of Harley ladies and plenty of little biker type bars.. Everything a good Harley man needs... OF course there are many other nice places, north of Atlanta, Ga is great too.> BUT the winters are brutal. SO if you want to ride year round and maybe use your leathers once or twice a year, go to Florida.. BUT you can get rained on often.. California is great also, but it is a very expensive place to live.. SO I do wish you good luck.. Keep Your Knees in the Breeze....

First answer me this question. What is the "biker lifestyle"?
I repair them for a living and ride them when I have time. So I'm around motorcycles 7 days a week. Do I live and breath motorcycles? No, I have other interests.

Yea, seriously dude, what do you think the biker lifestyle is? Then we can tell you if we live it. I put more miles on my bike in a month than some people put on theirs in a few years. I ride in all kinds of weather. I run a flat black chopped rat with no speedo or tach, no front fender and stiff rear suspention. But do i get drunk and bust up bars? Do I treat women like crap? Do I wear tons of black fringed leather in august? uhh nope. So what do you consider a biker lifestyle? Real riding or looking like some B-movie stereotype?
