If a man named any name and his pregnant wife came to my door in need..........I sure would.

No, I surely would not. There are too many crazy people in this world to just invite someone unknown into your home and risk the well-being of your family. I would call the cops to help them, show them to a homeless shelter, or take them to the local social services.

I honestly don't know but I like to think that I would. Even if their names were Bill & Sue, Roz & Keesha or Miguel & Maria etc, etc. I would want to help but since I live alone, I am not real sure what I would do. I would probably call my pastor to see what he thought I should do or call the police to ask them to take them somewhere safe.
God bless you for asking this question!

No. I wouldn't trust anyone coming to my door uninvited. A sign of the times, unfortunately.

I might point them in the direction of the nearest travelodge, though.

I wouldnt care what their names were, if a man and his pregnant wife needed a place to stay I would more than happily oblige. Our apartment is small but we could accomodate for two more people. I couldnt turn a family away like that, if they need help they are more than welcome!

Even if they not called Joseph and Mary, I will put them up if they need temporary accomodation.

if they're not close friends of mine and they're not paying me rent money, then no. There are plenty of government social services that can deal with homeless individuals, I'm not taking responsibility for two deadbeats I don't know that come knocking at my door.

Maybe in the shed out back. Names are names. They hold no meaning other than to identify a person.
