Why?Why is it so bad to have wide hips and chubby thighs?How can you men like those insect-like monsters from catwalk?I can't understand why is it so unattractive to be pear shaped?

Oh, but many of them do. A small waist with bigs hips is considered very feminine and sexy. Maybe you just aren't hanging out with the right guys, but I promise you this is a very attractive shape. And in latino and black cultures, this is considered even more desirable than hourglass! HTH : )

The media brainwashes men as well as women in presenting unreal bodies as the "norm." Look around you! What do people really look like? Women come in many shapes-- not only pear-shaped and stick-insect. And men are attracted to lots of different kinds of women. And some men--gasp-- are less interested in the shape than in the substance.
This reminds me of the scene in Fight Club where Tyler and the character played by Ed Norton are on the subway. Tyler looks at a Calvin Klein underwear ad (or someting like that) and comments that "real men" don;t really look like the male model in the ad-- the irony, that Tyler, played by Brad Pitt, actually is built like the muscular dude in the ad, is overshadowed by the reality that the whole body image issue is not just for women anymore. Men (at least some of them) are starting to obsess over having the "right" kind of body.
Take heart-- there are real men out there looking for real women.

nicely i will assert this, I as quickly as bit into an hourglass and that i broke my the teeth Then i attempted a banana and it substitute into too ripe I took a chew of apple, there substitute right into a trojan horse Now i'm munching on a pear... outstanding juicy n enterprise.. i'm one chuffed SOB!!!

I understand the really chubby thighs, but the big bums???? That's our fertility!!!! Those insect/ naturally thin or very healthy eating women (burgers aren't healthy) are perfect for couture since they are very simply hangers for clothing.

I'm not saying one way or another about whether this is right or not, but if by pear shaped you mean overweight, for various reasons being overweight is not considered attractive now. If a woman is a healthy weight and has thick thighs and butt, I know of many men who think that is really hot. Remember the song by sir mix alot? Some men feel that way... I personally think my butt is bordering on too big but all I've gotten are compliments so...
