I have a windows 95 and need to hook up a printer (hp812c) the current settings are from another one some time ago. HELP PLEASE !!!

After you install the printer's cd, go to Control Panel,them Printers and Scanners. Next click the the printer you want to use. Have a nice day!!

u will need the printer cd for the printer drivers, windows 95 is a nightmare to work on, u should upgrade

You will need the install CD (or floppy) that should have come with the printer. You can also normally download the CD files if you go to the manufacturer's web site. Run the CD (or the files from it) and follow the prompts to install the printer.

After you install the new printer.
Go to
Control Panel
Printers and Faxes
Open Printers and faxes folder and check the the printer you want to use.

go to www.hp.com.
Look at the left side for "downloads and printer drivers."
run a search for the driver for your printer.
