People who cease to have a physical existence continue to live but in another dimension unknown to us.
This may sound too esoterical but it is simple. An example will clarify it.
When we were in the womb of our mother we were in another world. We were living in a physiological world. It was completely different from this physical world.
When we abandoned the womb world (died to the womb world) and were born into the physical world, we didn't "go" to any other place. We stayed in the same place. We came into a new dimension, the physical world.
Similarly the next world is not a "place" where we will be going to. It is here. But in another dimension unknown to us, just as the physical world was unknown to the fetus.

If the Book of Revelation is true, a lot of people will live in the sky because John 's vision said that heaven (the New Jerusalem) is 1500 miles wide and fifteen hundred miles high. Fifteen hundred miles high is one tall city. See the last chapter (or two) of Revelation. I 'm sorry I can't remember the exact verses---quoting from memory. Anyway, it's really interesting to read about.

YOu do live on after death but not in the "sky" as we know it.
No matter what religion you believe in there is only one HOme or other side.
I have visited it often adn know where it is and what it looks like.
It is a paralel dimension to our own only about 3 feet about the plane of existance we live in.
It is beautiful, peaceful and we are very alive there and at our best health.

It makes much more sense to live somewhere when alive, don't ya think? :-) I bet that before too much longer we will have cities floating on the water and in the air. That should prove to be interesting.
