I need a good but cheap computer that can handle new games and run smoothly. I don't really care about the harddrive, I normally don't take up a bunch of space on it.
I have looked at www.geeks.com - Is it okay to buy from there?
I also thought about ebay.com - cyberpowerpc.com - newegg.com and dell.com
I want something around 500-600, maybe even less.
I do not want to regret getting it after I buy it either...
What do you suggest I get and why?
Do you know any other good websites that sell computers?
I also need to know some good games that you can play online with no monthly charge.
Thanks

You should be able to get a good deal around the holidays. Try Dell. I have gotten what I consider to be very good deals, twice. You can "build your own," and if you are lucky, might hit it at a time when they offer free shipping. Sometimes you can catch a refurbished and free shipping. They offer good support and I am very happy with my Dells.

you might want to bulid your own that way you dont have to get a hard drive disk drives try going to a computer place were they bulid them and tell them what you need and what your going to use it for they will give you a quote
if your on a small budget you can buy parts slowly every month eg good motherboard 150$ case 50 bucks ect.. look in around were you live for a computer parts store

Get the Mac Mini for $599 and use your old monitor, keyboard and mouse. And just dual boot Windows XP, and you can play your games. The total cost will probably be about $699- $730, but it'll be worth it, trust me..stick with Mac!

Do not get a DELL, they out outdated very fast. For good one that last a while and play many games, get a GATEWAY (Desktop) gateway laptops are more.
