do you listen to an artist who usually wouldn't be your style?

like, i'm into punk and heavy metal rock, while my dad's into classic rock. whats cool is we both like van halen and U2. its kinda interesting, but yeah, so its not usually my thing, but i realized my buddies had the same guilty pleasures like that. does anybody on here?

Yes. I'm normally quite of the metal, pop, alternative, celtic folk, international rock, and 80's music genre, but I'll also sometimes turn the volume up on songs by Bif Naked, Bette Midler, and Frank Sinatra.

I listen to a few artist's that people probably dont know I like.
A few guilty pleasures would be Depeche Mode,Dead Can Dance,Kelly Clarkson and Sarah Machlachlan. I would be defined at a rock type,but you cannot turn down good music if you are a true music lover.

I always isten to music that isn't in my style. I normally listen to rock, but I like to listen to country, especially Rascal Flatts and Jewel. But I'll still never listen to Screamo or Garbage Metal. I absolutely hate those.

i listen to rock, metal, classic rock, punk, emo, pretty much anything around there, but my guilty pleasures happen to be regina spekter and i feel really dumb for liking her music...

Yeah- Hinder, All American Rejects, The Fray, Snow Patrol, Extreme, etc... (I usually listen to R&B)..

I do that too, i usually listen to R&B, but sometimes I listen to alternative rock even though its weird in my circle of friends to listen to rock

Yup! lol..I listen to Emo/rock..like hinder, fall out boy, Panic! At the disco, that kind of stuff..but i can't help but like the old songs, like "lean on me" and "thriller"...lol...=]

YEAH I'M MOSTLY A METAL HEAD BUT EVERY NOW AND THEN I LIKE A LITTLE 70'S DISCO IN MY SYSTEM GIVE ME SOME SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER MAN
