i've just got a new ipod nano 2gb and its charged,just wondering how to transfer music onto it, do i just drag and drop of do i have to install itunes first then do it from there,.thanks

you hook it up and it downloads.. and you drag the song to your ipod. and download itunes!

there are 2 ways once u hav installed itunes it will be set to automatically put your songs on ur ipod but u can change this from automatic to manual by goingonto 1 of the tool bars and changing it to manual then u just drag and drop the manual method is much safer because if u lose ur entire library of song the next time u plug ur ipod in wen its set to automatic transfer it will think u dont want them songs anymore and delete them all off ur ipod but it wont do this with the manual setting

With mine what I did was install iTunes and then used it to search my computer for compatible music. (Click file and then add folder - add the folder where all your music is located on your computer) Once it had all been uploaded to my computer I plugged in my iPod. The iPod is usually set to automatically update itself so it should then copy all the songs from your computer to the ipod - easy :-)

i have the same ipod you install itunes by putting in the cd and then a thing pops up

Install itunes first... it'll pretty much guide you through the whole process once it's installed.
