ok im doing a report and i have to footnote - now heres my question - my teacher said that if there is no author then you put the articles name (im talking about if its from the internet) so if the article was "Bone Cancer" for the footnotes would you go (Bone Cancer) or ("Bone Cancer")???

Just Bone Cancer without the "" but make sure that u put it on the center of the paper. E-mail me and tell me how it went. Good Luck...

It would help to know what style you're using. I assume it's Chicago style, in which case, you can find the basics of footnoting by googling "Chicago documentation style."

might try listing the exact site address with a /then bone cancer so that the teacher can go their easily I used to accept that from my students but then I was a softy

Give the article name as it is on the Internet and who it is by.
