Ok, do you ovulate before or after your period? Just curious... my husband and I are trying to get preggo and might be now but I was just wondering when to start (AND WE WANT OUR GIRL, so if you have and "suggestions" or "positions", let me know, anything will work, even if its just for fun!) THANKS!!

you ovulate usually 12-14days after your period. and there is no real way to have sex or do anything special to have a girl. Its just the luck of the draw really. But if you wanna have fun with it I would try the chinese sex chart. some try and plan a girl that way but i dont think it really works. (even though it ironically did for me doesnt mean it really does work) best of luck though!

Your period is the result of ovulation. You ovulate, if the egg does not get fertalized and implanted in the uterus then you have your period to cleanse out the womb for the possibility of getting pregnant next cycle.

There is no magical way to choose the sex of your baby. It all depends on which sperm swims the fastest.

Boy, you really know NOTHING about the womans body. You need to buy the book, Taking charge of your fertility. Read this before you start trying to conceive.
