I downloaded mine a few days ago, and did that without any problem, but it seems like I'm getting a lot of those messages, "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and has to close." Is it just my system or are other people having this problem too?

No more than before, actually less... But that's NOT an IE problem, it's a WINDOWS issue, although caused by IE.

Anyway... GET FIREFOX!!! http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

You will be happy to know it's not just you that are having problems. Whenever I try to close IE 7 it crashes out, instead of closing. A lot of people are having problems with this new IE 7.

on account which you have dial-up, i might propose you uninstall IE7 and circulate returned to IE6. IE7 is optimized for broadband cyber web connections, and there are a number of reported issues for dial-up customers. you could constantly re-setting up IE7 if/once you get a broadband connection. besides the undeniable fact that, you ought to use a non-microsoft browser and sidestep the completed IE mess. Firefox is outstanding.

Internet explorer 7 is BAD. Call your provider and tell them to immediatley remove it. It can send a terrible virus to your computer. Trust me. This goes out to everyone with Internet explorer 7.

You probably have an old computer without enough RAM. Check your RAM by Start>right click My Comp>Properties and there it gives you the ram at the bottom
