Trumpet sounds a blare. String instuments like a guitar reverberate when strumed. Drums rat a tat tat. When refering to sax its mellow jazz tones. Flutes are fanciful airy toots and whistles. Oboes make deeper hollow tones. Does that help?

That's quite a hard question. As far as I know you can hear so try listening to this trumpet sound: http://har-bal.com/reference/brass/C_trumpet_G3.wav and this saxophone sound http://har-bal.com/reference/brass/C_trumpet_G3.wav

I would probably say a trumpet went paaaaaaaaaarp :-) and a sax went deeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa. Or something like that! It's a very hard question to answer!

welll, a flute would make a little whistle. a trumpet would be like a siren, and a sax would be like a giraffe sound in a way.

Trumpet goes "bah" or, that's wut my music teacher imitates with and sax is like "boo" Well it's hard to put it to an onomatopoeia

The wide ranged trumpet timbres are loud and sounds like it's forced through the hole, and it is. (You should see the trumpet players in my school band) Saxes are usually lower in range and their timbres are quite rich and saxy

The ta-rah, ta-rah of a trumpet, the sizzle or splash of cymbals, the honk of a saxaphone, the pa rum pum pum of drums, the ting tingle of bells.

It's your story, so that's up to you.
Just listen and represent it how you feel.
