when someone fake falls when they is being chased by someone that's gonna kill them and then it just make you so mad and you would call them stupid or whatever becuz they fell on purpose an you knew it.....

The purpose of this 'falling' is to build the 'tension' between the audience and the 'screen'. However, since it's been used to death (no pun intended) it doesn't build much tension anymore. Just lets us know how stupid the idiot is for falling...lol

They do it to create suspense. If the victim just ran away really fast and never seemed likely to get caught it wouldn't be as scary. When you see someone trip it gets a reaction from you, yes?
