That's right, no one is perfect. But that doesn't mean that people can't say their perfectionists. Just because they say their perfectionsits, doesn't mean that they are perfect. They just try and make everything perfect. They like things to always be the best and all that. And if it's not the best, then they're not happy. Because they need more then the best. They're striving from perfection, even though they can't get perfection.

People who are perfectionists are not a happy lot, they strive for something that they cannot have. Being a perfectionist in no way means that they are perfect. It is just what they want.

Very interesting...we are roaming in paradoxes which we trying to resolve by judging. That creates good/ bad, perfect /imperfect ect. If no one if perfect, as we think, then perfection reveal itself in imperfection.Still Perfect. Perfect imperfection.Well , actually , if imperfection is perfect, then meaning of imperfection cannot not be possible, only Perfection. What is left is our judgment which divides perfection in two polar opposites, two opposite meanings which human lives for centuries...stored in our minds, for perfection and imperfection does not exist nowhere but in a mind. So perfectionist would be right as well as those who states imperfection. Both party judge and both party is right....unless they are not. Being above of a matter of judgment might clarify stated above...

no one is perfect within themselves, like no one can constantly portray a perfect attitude toward everyone, perfect apperance, perfect everything. being a perfectionist is just a strange way of saying OCD.

yeah nobody's perfect...the term "perfectionist" is just used to connote an exaggeration to a person who is trying to do an impossible thing, to make a thing perfect.

Because they're trying to be perfect even though it can't be accomplished. That's why these kinds of people are so stressed all of the time.
