'Give to the hood' how exactly? Are you wondering if people should feel obliged to give to charitable causes? Personally I think that those who have more than they need should give, and without regard to the color of their skin or their personal histories

Black people of status are a plus. They have the opportunity to be the voice for all Blacks regardless if they were or were not exposed to the 'hood. The Black community should uphold all Blacks that are excelling. Go Obama!!!!!

NO. I was raised in the country, with farms and horses and I've been to the "hood" but I don't live in the hood. It's your money and you made it, you get to decide where you want it to go to.

Do you think that the color of your skin obliges you to act in a certain way or participate in certain activities? It doesn't.
