Since so much of the city was run down before Katrina, there is much opportunity for 'gentrification'. For it to work, it wuld have to include moderately priced housing solutions which do not destroy the neighborhood feeling that most of the city has. If you mean the destruction of the housing projects then the answer is that it is necessary for the city to rebuild. Many projects are close to the city's center and that real estate should command a premium.

Gosh, Josh, I can't answer. I don't really know what gentrification means, and I don't feel like looking it up. However, if it is a bad thing, I hope not, since NO doesn't need any more problems.

Depends on what you mean by "a lot"....
..... it's hard to answer such ambiguous questions with any degree of specificity.
