This is potentially a very very bad situation. On your end it sounds like you have no contract and I am willing to bet that If you have no contract you have not taken title of the mobile home and do not have any type of deed to prove that you have taken ownership of the property. Likewise there is no obligation to pay them however you would be out your money and home if decided to leave. Talk to them and get a contract worked up by a lawyer and put your contingencies in it. Some of this is after the fact since you have already taken possession. Document EVERYTHING you do in case this situation goes bad and you need recourse as to what and when everything has happened. In the future use a realtor to help you when making home purchases and we can help you with all the nity gritty stuff so you don't get screwed. Good luck.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! If you bought the place without a contract it's your problem now (so to speak). You still may have a case In small claims) if there were vebal agreements with witnesses on your behalf! But for 3 grand why cry, it's not like you paid 100+k.....be happy you have a roof over your head & move on.....we ALL get scamed once before we die, even the smart ones! Mobile homes have titles just like cars. If you have no title you have no ownership. It sounds like you owe 2700 yet I would get a contract from staples. These are prewritten contracts that will hold up in court. You also need to find out if they owe any money on the house to the bank or you will be liable for that to. Get a copy of that title for contract purposes. Also you will know if there are any leins. Good luck

You gave somebody $3,000 WITHOUT a contract, and now you want to know how to cancel the contract?
Just move somewhere else. Give your new seller some more money, and after a while move again.
Sure, it's gonna be real expensive, and you'll be throwing money away left and right, but you won't need to fill out those bothersome contracts.

If you don't have a contract then you have no proof that you bought the mobile home. You need to contact them about this problem, and get something in writing fast so that you can prove ownership or you may lose your home. No one is required to clean a home when they sell it, that is done only as a courtesy.

And Pinky..... All sounds so sketchy. in basic terms yet another wanna be like that Kim Par-...woman who's to not be named. yet, if with the aid of candy jesus mary and moses it somewhat is real. Then yay! i choose bill to get an important different already.
