I am wondering what to get for Christmas. Should I get a Sony's Play Station 3, or Nintendo's Wii?

Yeah..you dont want to even look at the prices that the PS3's are going for. I have a Wii and love it. Plus its like $350 cheaper and so are the games which are so far so good. I have 5 games for the Wii and cant complain about any of them..Controllers are very accurate and make noise and vibrate..hehe..But if $$ isnt an issue..I'd still get the Wii over the PS3 unless I was going to sell it but that would defeat the purpose. Plus the PS3 controllers dont have the vibration anymore and feel light and cheap and have compatability issues where the Wii does not. Happy Hunting!

Look at the games available, both online and in store..and then consider the prices of both units! The PS3 is very expensive, but you get the incredible graphics...while the Wii is alot cheaper, and there are a ton of innovative games coming out for it, as well as the oppurtunity to download old school games.

Wii, lower price on everything, games, console itself and accessories.
Playstation 3 is the same as xbox 360 except more expensive and less good games.

The PS3 will have much better games, even if they arrive more slowly. Also, it's more future proof with its advanced technology.
You can also dual-boot the PS3 with Linux, if you're so inclined. Eight cores in a general purpose machine that is subsidised on the back of games sales. You /know/ that it makes sense!

there is no way u gonna get a PS3 and on the news it said a man bought a wii and hook it up to his 60 in HDTV and he waz playin blowing and he throw the remote in to the tv and broke it
