my favorite crawfish just died during shedding, i know this is common. is there anything that i can do to help the shedding process? what is the life expectancy of a crawfish anyway?

they are tasty...
when they shed, they're more susceptible to chemicals (chlorine, nitrites etc..) and parasites....

maybe next time, when they shed do a 50% water change with aged water.

I didn't know people kept crawfish as pets...we eat them here in Georgia.
