20/20 is considered nearly perfect vision and that is the view of incidents that the show wants to present. Also, since this is about things that have happened it can be considered "hindsight" and "hindsight" is usually considered 20/20. If you have 20/20 vision it means that if you have 20/20 vision your vision is "normal" a Vision 20/20. 20/20 doesn't mean perfect eyesight.

Well, 20:20 means excellent eyesight, which means clear vision. I am sure those who participate in that show would like to feel that they have done their homework, and the material that they present on the show, for the public is the result of first-class research which has then been interpreted, and formulated for that show with intelligence, good judgement, and clear thinking and seeing.

It is because the program tries to be clear in developing their stories accurately and without bias. It is their way of saying, "we have perfect vision as in 20/20 because we see clearly and need no "glasses " or corrective "lenses" to do our story of the truth and nothing but the truth. ( according to their truth)
