I am irregular with my periods however went on depo shot now it's worse?

I went on this shot the first week of October then I started antibotics last week. Then all this week I been bleeding. I got help to stop the bleeding and pain. However has anyone went through this before? Is the shot making me bleed or the antibotics?

I was asking if others went through the depo shot not getting health info. I am already under doctors care about this.

I went through the exact situation a few years ago. I was only 140 pounds when I got on the depo shot. I was on the shot for about a year and a half. I took the birth control pills for a long time to regulate my period. The whole time I was on the depo shot, I would bleed. It was very light, but constant. I decided to get off of the shot on my own. When I did get off, I weighed 190 pounds! I can't tell you for sure if it's the shots or the antibiotics that causes you to bleed, but for me, it was the shots. I've been off the shots for about five years. My period is still irregular if I don't take birth control pills, but I do not bleed constantly since I stopped the depo shot.

i had 3 shots of depo and bled all the way through! i was told after my second one to take 3 packs of contraception pills back to back then have my next injection. I was told you will bleed for first shot and maybe the second but if you still bleed on the 3rd stop taking it! i would advise you to have 3 shots and if on second shot you bleed ask for some contraception pills and then take 3rd shot before you come off the depo.

Be careful with depo because my friend got pregnant because they didnt give her enough
