I babysit for children and I think It matters how old the person babysitting is. Like if they were 13-15 the usual is 5$ an hour, but not for each child. If they are older they probably expect to be paid more.

No one has given her less than minimum wage ($7.65) and some have given her $ 20 an hour- but this is usually for more than one child.

Well I usually charge 10.00/hour. Since its only for one an hour though, you may want to talk to your baby sitter about how much he/she feels is appropriate for just an hour of service. I would say nothing over 25.00. Its just an hour.

I think 10 dollars is reasonable. If the child or children are really bad maybe you should charge 20 or even 30.
