I wanted to ask this question as a riddle but there is some issue with my browser which is not allowing me to select/change my choice so I have to put it under default catagory which is 'Society & Culture'... I am helpless. Please consider...........
Sita and Gita are twins. They stay in a village near Mumbai (Bombay).
Last year, during the month of July, their village got flooded due to heavy rains and poor drainage system. Both of them were together in the same village.
The villagers were asked by the authorities to leave their houses and move to a safe place. Most of the villagers, including Gita, used the bridge to cross the river to move to the other side which was safe. Sita too chose to go to the other side but she swam across the flooded river instead of using the bridge which was a safer option.
It looks as if Gita did a wise job by using the bridge instead of swimming during such heavy floods but villagers feel Sita is more intelligent. Why??

During floods a bridge is unsafe and moreover maybe Sita is a strong swimmer,she will be carried forward by the flowing water instead of falling in and getting drowned.People were crowding on the bridge and with so many people on it ,break down was possible.

I agree with Vivek.... because people thought that Sita was the one that used the bridge to cross...when it was really Gita so people feel that Sita is more intelligent when the truth is that Gita is more intelligent

because generally during floods bridge collapse midway so it is advisable to swim if u know swimiming but u do not told in ur story if gita also know swimming because being a twin does not mean both know same skill so according to ur story its really hard to tell who is wiser

certain! observing an previous "Twilight Zone" of a guy going decrease back to 1927 I felt chuffed seeing the Roaring '20's and listening to the music and observing the chuffed people, yet cried deliberating the way unhappy it became 1929 will come and spoil each and every thing exciting from then.

I am not an escapist so i guess Sita was right to swim against others and go ahead.may b she does not like the crowd, or something.Likes to be doing things her way.....
