This book was about a girl who went swimming one day near her Grandfather's Resort and she got so exhuasted that a druken fishermen had to save her and they ended up having a one night stand and she got pregnant. A few years later she started a catering business with her best friend and she ran into the father of her daughter at an event Calder Parks was throwing and after that they started talking and he found out about the baby and now wants to be a part of their lives. The name Calder rang a bell. Author Janet Daily wrote a series of books about a family named Calder...you might try doing a search of her name and seeing if any of her titles sound familiar. Good luck!

Well if you want it bad enough go back to the Docs and look for the books name and then buy it at the store. Did it look like a romance novel ?
go to your local library and ask the librarian there, you would be surprised how much knowledge they have of books. But if they can't name it, they might be able to give you some books that are like it

why don't you just call the Dr's office back and see if the book is still there and ask them the name of it and the author?
