Try hydrogen peroxide first. And quickly!!
If this doesn't work try oxy clean.

The best way to remove it is with COLD water, no soap!!! Get as much out as you possibly can like that. Then, test some peroxide on a non-conspicuous place to make sure it won't fade your upholstery/carpeting. If it doesn't fade. Use the peroxide with a cotton ball to get the rest of it out.

get the people who had the fight to pay for professional cleaning if it doesn't work then have them pay for new items to replace the ones that are stained. in the meantime i've heard wetting the surface with cold water then sprinkling salt pulls the blood out. good luck! they also make an oxy fabric cleaner now
