Also talk to your doctor if you notice a change in body odor — it may be a sign of certain medical conditions. A fruity smell, for example, may be a sign of diabetes and an ammonia smell could indicate liver or kidney disease. In addition, a rare condition known as fish-odor syndrome (trimethylaminuria) causes an odor similar to rotting fish. People with fish-odor syndrome have a defective gene that prevents them from metabolizing trimethylamine (TMA), a natural byproduct of the digestion of foods such as saltwater fish, eggs and liver.

I agree you should see a doctor. I have the condition mentioned by someone above that causes a fishy odour in certain circumstances, and it was terrible until I found out what the source was.

My understanding is that you perceive the smell coming from other places, not yourself. It's possible you just have a very, very sensitive olfactory sense. If this is the case, there's not a lot you can do but get used to it unfortunately. But I would still go to a doctor just to rule out anything pathological.

hmmmm well are you in a apartment house where others may be using it? Or if you come accross it at some point during the day it can burn into your nose and you keep smelling it sort of like the smell of skunk.

It could very well be a UTI. The cottage cheese like substance and burning on urination are both symptoms of an infection. Go get it checked out.
