Hi I am from Baroda.
YES I can give information.
Now you can buy August issue of Autocar India magazine. It contains information that might help you.
Other way is log on to "autocarindia.com" and search.
Now something on the web:
You can log on to "windingroad.com" and click on the 'spyshots' and then browse the pages.
Other is "carspyshots.net"
One more "thehollywoodextra.blogspot.com"
I am not sure about last two ones but winding road can give you the solution you need.
Now you can go to any suzuki site and see what the SX4 looks like and then add a boot and what you get is new Baleno.

Something more. The SX4 has 4 out of 5 rating in NCAP so the new baleno is going to be the safest in its category. As safe as Corolla, Optra and safer than VernaNCAP rate 2 out o f5), etc.
The design of the new baleno is much better adn it looks stunnig.

Regarding Engine: no one knows what is maruti's plan. Initially to save cost it may have the same engine carried over. The a new 1.6 without VVT and 100hp would be joined. No on eknows what Maruti would do.
Dont expect the dealer to speak out the launch date. He would be interested in clearing the present stock of the current car.
Now the new Zen is coming in on Dec 5 but the maruti site isnt updated so no news about sx4 should be expected.
It is roumoured that new Baleno would come after the Zen and Swift Diesel are launched, but it may come after Zen and before Swift D.
THE FOLLOWING LINK WILL TAKE YOU TO THE SPY SHOTS OF NEW BALENO

Nothing is new in the Maruti Baleno sx4.
It is being relaunched by Maruti in order to save its production costs from becoming a major loss of image to the company

My advice will be do not buy the Baleno as it is being discontinued in 2007 and relaunched in a new avatar.
