your monthly periods are a sign that you ovulated and the ovum was not fertilized with a sperm. the fact that you do not have monthly periods could mean that you do not ovulate every month. the OCP's (birth-control) stimulate your body like your normal female hormones would...thus you have a period every month.
anaemia is another concern...if you have periods every month, does the anaemia get worse? you may want to avoid monthly periods so as not to exacerbate the anaemia.
can you have kids...yes, but how will you know when to have sex (two weeks after your last period is the optimum "sex" period (no pun intended) if you don't have periods...
i think that your ob/gyn needs to follow up with a few blood tests and then maybe have you see an fertility specialist if still not luck...good luck

I'm fairly certain that unless you have some sort of problem with your ovaries that conception is still an option. However, it might be more difficult than normal for you. I actually have a lot of the same issues, but as long as your pap smears are clean, you're ovaries are producing eggs, and your uterus is producing a healthy lining, then the eggs should be able to become a child. Just keep at it, and maybe speak to your doctor about hormone pills instead of birth control to regulate your periods.

may be you suffered from secondary amenorrhea(menstruation begins at the appropriate age,but stops for more than 3 cycles or 6 months).
Absent menstruation is called amenorrhea.
Treatment depends on the cause of the amenorrhea. so,you are given hormonal contraceptives to treat the problem.
A woman is unable to conceive whilst she is amenorrhoeic, but when it is cured it has no effect on long term fertility once menstruation recommences.
Eat all the nutritious thing, take sufficient calories, don't do dieting, be happy and get rid of stress and not excercising much.
don't forget to take your pills ,go as per your GYNE advise.
while balancing all this you will surely get rid of amenorrhea and resume your regular cycles and will able to have children.

It's possible, but it's very difficult and takes a lot of time. The Pill does regulate you and you may have a chance of being able to have a child after you're taken off of them. Ask your Gyn and he/she can help you.
I have the same problem with my periods and have to take the Pill. I haven't been ovulating since my late 20's (I'm 44 now) so my chances of being able to have kids are gone.

Just keep trying. And keep listening to your Dr. They know more about this. Praying helps also. I'm sure that in time it will happen. If the Dr says everything looks healthy and fine, then time is all it takes. Yes it can be painful waiting, but when it happens your joy will over flow. Good Luck.

Yes, but you may have some hormone inbalance, the irregular cycles, so you may want to see a doctor. It would make thhings easier, I think.
