Hands down- Gears of War. I've played Halo 2 from start to finish a total of four times and finished Gears of War once (so far). Halo 2 is longer in Single player, but Gears of War has better online multiplayer.

Gears of War.
only because it is hi def 360 and when halo 3 comes out for 360 it will probably be on the same level or better.
but halo multiplayer is better.

Gears of War is fun.
But Halo 2 is better in my opinion.

ive played both and i have too say......halo 2 and gears of war............lol......they are both kool *** games.........halo 2 got an 9 out of 10......but gears of war got a 9 and a half...out of ten......
