I have been in involved with my husband's(now ex) brother in law for over 4 years and can't seem to breakaway. I think I am in love with him but how do I know for sure that it's not lust? I know it's wrong but neither one of us can seem to walk away no matter how close we become to being found out. Is there anyone dealing with the similar situation? Any advice

I neglected to add that we do spend quite a lot of time together outside of sexual encounters. We have taken trips together and we share a lot of genuine common interest in the same things which has drawn us closer together. I have been separated from my Husband for over a year and married to my Husband for 10 years. There was not an immediate attraction between me and my brother in law. It wasn't until we realized we shared common interest and spent an increasingly amount of time together when we realized that we were becoming more attracted to each other.

you should do your husband, the man you pledged your love and life and faithfulness to, a favor and let him go and get on with his life because you're really disrespecting him.

It sounds like there is a definite attraction. If you and your husband are separated the only decent thing to do here is to go ahead and file for divorce. If the man you are seeing is now married the two of you need to break it off unless he to gets a divorce. It is immoral any other way. However if he is unattached then maybe the two of you need to think about being together after your divorce.

Jeez, just pull the scab off the wound and get it over with. Why keep stringing your poor husband along? Get a divorce. The you will see if your lover is serious or not. Then there will be no excuses if he wants to marry you...or not.

That is so uncool. You are playing it too close. Is the brother in law worth losing your husband over ?
