Most people don't think to do this, but go to your public library. If they don't have it onhand they'll order it for you. If you would rather BUY it, try e-bay or ANY bookstore. (Again, bookstores will special order it for you).
BTW: the screen adaptation of "V" was pretty accurate, but you'll LOVE seeing the subtle differences. Enjoy!
