An item is priceless if the owner values it so much that he would not part with it for any price.
You may think this only applies to extremely valuable things, but a simple gold ring that belonged to a close friend can be priceless, too.

Sentimental value. Whatever is valuable to you is priceless. It's just like those Mastercard Commercials. At the end, the item that is priceless is usually something that has a sentimental value to the person in the commercial.

for me, item that was specifically made just for me is priceless, no matter what other people will say. the sentimental value is the one that makes it too valuable. the effort, the thought, their time, makes it all worthy. i keep it close and cherish it with all might.
my guy best friend gave me a marble picture of holy infant, "santo nino", he is my patron and he is priceless since he always guide me, protect me and keep me safe from harm, i believe in him... always...
my sister in law gave me "the last supper" cross stitched that i brought from back home, the airline charged me a lot but ended up breaking the glass frame. i did replaced it with new one. but since she treat my brother bad and disrespect my mother and best friend, i distance myself and don't bother with her anymore.
last but not least, my best friend give me a "madonna" cross stitched and i treasures it the most. (since we no longer communicate), i did frame it personally with the expensive frame there is (since its the last gift from her).
those are the three main item in my life that i value dearly..no price tag can equal to it...

ususally something that cannot be recreated. for example: your grandmother's china set was probably mass produced but because it was your grandmother's, that makes it priceless....or something like that.
