Since you are talking in general is hard to answer your question. I know that people try to make then self feel good thinking that less is more when it is not possible for them to have more, like money; they will not reject if you give them more of any thing they don't have. About bigger, is a mater of opinion, some say it gives a myriad of sensations not found in smaller.

i don't think you can actually compare the two, cause you may either be in the category that believes that less is more, or in the one that believes bigger is better. you decide on your on, who am i to tell you what's right anyway...
