because sometimes people dont like what you say and can become arguementative. so really you just started a fight that could of been avoided.

I have tired all my life to communicated very openly with people some can hack it and some can't but after stuttering badly for over 25 years it is such a pleasure to talk with people and not be so afraid of making a total fool of myself so I probably over do it but I have those 25 years to make up learn to mean what you say and say what you mean the world needs way more of that than we get, especially politicians

I am not afraid to communicate openly with anyone. However, I do find that most people do not want to here the honest, open truth and therefore do not ask for it.

Since I've always been surrounded by 'talkers' I've never felt much need nor desire to be one myself. Any fear would stem from saying the wrong thing and appearing stupid. What's the old saying? Keep quite and people might think you are stupid or talk and remove any doubt. :-) I prefer to listen to everyone else and seldom offer any words of my own.
